Im Jahre 1980 wurde mit dem Kauf des asil-ägyptischen Jährlings "Calif" (Mohafez x Set Abouha v Kaisoon) der Grundstein zu der gleichnamigen Zuchtstätte gelegt. Der kleine Fuchs entstammte dem ersten Fohlenjahrgang des "Nile Arabian Stud" der Familie Aeschbacher und lebte als Wallach und Distanz-Reitpferd bis zu seinem Tode 1997 bei uns. "El Calif Arabians" was founded in 1980 with the purchase of the yearling "Calif" (Mohafez x Set Abouha) by the "Nile Arabian Stud" Switzerland. As a gelding and endurance-horse he lived with us untill his death in 1997.
Fünf Jahre später folgten aus Deutschland die Jungstute "Mashuga" (Mohafez x Maysouna v Ibn Galal) aus der Zucht von Dr. J. Nagel und der Junghengst "Moneera Safin" (Kasr el Nile x Salima v Kaisoon) vom Gestüt der Familie Thierer.
Five years later he was followed by the the German bred mare "Mashuga" (Mohafez x Maysona by Ibn Galal / Breeder Dr. H.-J. Nagel) and the young stallion "Moneera Safin" (Kasr el Nile x Salima by Kaisoon / Breeder Family Thierer, Moneera Arabians).
Unser Ziel ist es, auf rein ägyptischen Linien basierend, Vollblutaraber zu züchten, welche sowohl exterieurmässig, durch ihre Ausstrahlungskraft und den typischen "Beduinenzelt-Charakter" zu überzeugen wissen. We aim to breed straight egyptian arabian horses which satisfy with their appearance, charisma and a "beduin’s tent – character"
